MVA WITH MOTORCYCLE

May 25 th - At 1756 hours Paramedic 591 was dispatched to assist on a Motor Vehicle Accident involving a Motorcycle with a Trauma code at 15112 National Pike , Hagerstown Speedway. Company 49 (Clear Spring Ambulance) arrived on scene and cancelled Company 59 units. Company 59 cleared the incident at 1801.


MVA WITH MOTORCYCLE

 

May 24th - At 1728 hours Paramedic 591 and Rescue Squad 59, were dispatched mutual aide to Fulton County, for a Motor Vehicle Accident involving a Motorcycle at the intersection of Timber Ridge Road and Hilldale Drive. MSP Trooper 5 transported one patient to Washington County Trauma Center via Avation. Other units on scene were Company 5 (Hancock ) , and Pennsylvania State Police. Units cleared the scene at 1900 hours.


MVA WITH ROLLOVER

May 24th - At 1914 hours , Paramedic 591 and Rescue Squad 59, were dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Accident with Rollover on Woodmont Road. Paramedic 591 transported one patient to Washington County Trauma Center by ground. Other units on scene were Company 5 ( Hancock Fire) , MSP Trooper 5, Washington County Sheriffs Office. Units cleared scene at 2011 hours.


STRUCTURE FIRE WITH ENTRAPMENT

April 29th - At 0509 hours Rescue Squad 59 was dispatched to assist Morgan County,West Virginia with a structure fire with possible entrapment. Upon arrival there was a house fully involved in fire with numerous sounds of explosions inside and outside of the residence. Rescue Squad 59 assisted in fire attack and overhaul of the structure. Tragically, there was a victim found that had parrished in the blaze. Rescue Squad 59 cleared the incident at 0835 hours. Other units on the scene, Berkeley Springs (Morgan Co 1), Great Cacapon (Morgan Co 2) , South Morgan ( Morgan Co 3), Morgan County Rescue (Morgan Co 7), Hedgesville (Berkeley County Co 30\70) , Beddington (Berkeley County 40), Hancock Fire, Williamsport (Washington County Co 2), West Virginia State Fire Marshal's Office, Morgan County Sheriffs Office.


MVA WITH MULTIPLE INJURIES

 

April 26th - At 0231 hours Co 59 was dispatched to Interstate 70 West Bound at the 9.5 mile marker for a personal injury accident with ejection and entrapment. Paramedic 592, Rescue Squad 59 responded to the call. Rescue Squad 59 completed the extrication of the patient trapped in the car and Paramedic 592 transported Priority 2 to Washington County Hospital. The patient that was ejected was Priority 4. Units cleared the scene at 0317 hours. Units on scene - Hancock Fire Department (Co5) Maryland State Police


BRUSH FIRE

April 18th - At 1439 hours Co 59 was dispatched to Old Town- Orleans Road to assist Allegany County,MD with a large multi jurisdictional brush fire. Medic 592 responded to assist with rehab and for Fire Ground Stand By. Co 59 units cleared the scene at 1801 hours.


MVA WITH ROLLOVER

April 17th - At 1624 hours Co 59 was dispatched to Interstate 70 West Bound at the 6 mile marker for a Personal Injury Accident with rollover. Paramedic 592 Car 59and Rescue Squad 59 responded. Upon arrival units found one vehicle that had rolled over on the right shoulder of the road with every one out of the vehicle. Paramedic 592 transported one patient to War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs,WV. Units cleared the scene at 1706. Other units on scene Co 5 (Hancock Fire) , Maryland State Police.

Field Fire

April 17th - At 1405 hours Paramedic 592 was dispatched to 15156 Buck Valley Road to assist Fulton County with a Field \ Rubbish Fire. Paramedic 592 served as a fire ground EMS stand by unit until the arrival of Fulton County Ambulance 55. Command placed Company 59 in service at 1422 hours. Other units on scene Co 5 (Hancock Fire) , Fulton County 55 (Needmore Fire \ EMS)
 


PIA

April 11th - Medic 592 and Rescue Squad 59 responded to assist Fulton County with a Personal Injury Accident on Pennsylvania Route 484 (Buck Valley Road) near Quarry Hill Road. Upon arrival units found 2 vehicles that were involved and layed to rest on the bridge over top of Interstate 70. Paramedic 592 transported one to Fulton County Medical Center in McConnellsburg,PA. Rescue Squad 59 maintained traffic control until the arrival of Fulton County Company 55 and Pennsylvania State Police.


FULTON COUNTY MVA WITH ROLLOVER

 

Feb 29th - At 14:43 Paramedic 594 and Medic 592 were dispatched to the intersection of Pennsylvania Route 655 and Myers Road to assist Fulton County, Pa with a motor vehicle collision with rollover. Units on scene assisted to extricate the patient from the car, Co.59 requested aviation to medevac the patient to a trauma center. The patient was transported to the landing zone by Paramedic 592 and flown to Washington County Hospital Trauma Center priority 1. Other units on scene: Fulton County Co.55 (Needmore), Engine Company 5 (Hancock), Maryland State Police Trooper 5, Pennsylvania State Police.

 

 

   

 


MVA WITH MULTIPLE INJURIES

 

Feb 20th - At 12:34 Paramedic 592 was dispatched to assist Allegany County, Maryland with a two vehicle accident with multiple patients on Interstate 68 @ the 64 mile marker.  Paramedic 592 transported 2 patients to Cumberland Memorial Hospital's Trauma Department. Units from Allegany County Co 43, Allegany County Co 12, Maryland State Police were on scene to assist. Paramedic 592 went back in service at 1511 hours.
